The Eucharistic Celebration is the substance of our faith. We receive the Bread of Life and then are called to go forth and share that Life. To ensure the preparation of the Liturgy for our community of the faithful, the Sacristan sets all elements in place for Mass. This ministry coordinates the preparation of all masses including all special masses, sacraments and funerals for our parish. The Sacristan also maintains the inventory of the vessels, hosts, sacramental wine, vestments and all other items needed for the Liturgy.

The Sacristan is trained to be an Extraordinary Minister. Additional training is required for this ministry.
