More than thirty years ago, St. Paul’s Harvest House came into being.  It is a Senior social organization composed of anyone over 50 years of age.  If a couple joins, only one person needs be 50 years or older.

We meet the second Thursday of every month from September to May.  Mass is at 6:30PM in St. Paul’s Chapel, and the meeting follows the Mass.  Our meetings consist of covered dish suppers, game nights, etc.  At least once or twice a year speakers with expertise in health issues, taxes, etc. are provided for our membership, so that it is kept informed.

Our Good Samaritan Committee helps our membership with transportation and meals, when members come home from hospitals or therapy centers, and they do not have anyone at home to assist them.  Our Trip Committee, in conjunction with two neighborhood parishes that also have Senior groups, provides at least 15 day trips for our membership.  From time to time, we open our meetings and trips as a service to all St. Paul’s parishioners.  If we fund raise, the money is used specifically to lower the cost of holiday dinners and other events; so that the entire membership can enjoy everything St. Paul’s Harvest House provides.

In August the members receive an application in the mail.  Applications are also on hand in the Church Office.  Contact our Membership Chairperson, Eileen Sweeney, ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ), for further information.  We look forward to having you become a member.  We may be “Over the Hill,” but we do have fun.
