A great story of one of our parishioners and of St. Paul Roman Catholic Parish...

Society of St. Vincent de Paul

The goals of this society are Spirituality, Fellowship, Serving those in Need, Giving others the opportunity to serve.

Our mission is to offer person-to-person service to the needy and suffering; encourage spiritual growth to members, volunteers, the people served and benefactors; encourage fellowship while serving those in need.

This is a ministry to people in need who live in our parish boundaries. St. Paul Parish began this group in 1980 and has given many types of aid: food, rent, utilities, spiritual and hope to those who call for help.

Members serve by collecting food and donations from parishioners and providing stewardship for those resources. We make home visits to the needy that call for help; manage the food pantry; provide Adopt-a-Family program at Christmas; serve in the local Chris Becker dining hall and meet together twice a month for spiritual growth and fellowship.

To receive assistance, call St. Paul's office 602-942-2608 and ask for the St. Vincent de Paul line. To give assistance join our St. Vincent de Paul group by coming to a meeting on the 2nd or 4th Tuesday of the month at 7 PM. All parish members are welcome to our meetings and encouraged to join.
