Music has always held a special place in the worship of the Catholic Church. From the psalms of King David to the hymns sung by the early Christians, music has been a powerful way of lifting our hearts and voices to God. In the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, music does more than beautify the liturgy—it helps us enter more deeply into the mystery of Christ’s presence among us.

Why Join the Music Ministry?

When you join the music ministry, you are offering more than just your voice or instrumental talent—you are offering a gift of service to God and to His Church. Music in the liturgy helps the faithful pray, unites the assembly in one voice, and raises our minds to heaven. As St. Paul reminds us:
“Sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God” (Colossians 3:16).

Through your participation, you become part of something greater than yourself—a ministry that touches hearts, strengthens faith, and supports the liturgical life of our parish.

A Place for Everyone

Our parish offers a variety of opportunities for people to use their musical gifts:

• Youth and Family Music Ministry – a wonderful way for families and young people to share their love of music while growing together in faith.

• Young Adult Music Ministry – vibrant and spirit-filled, combining fellowship with a passion for music and service.

• Traditional, Blended, and Contemporary Ensembles – choose the style of music that speaks most to your heart as you serve the Lord.

Roles We Need

We are currently seeking:

• Cantors – to help lead the congregation in sung prayer.

• Singers & Choir Members – all voice parts welcome!

• Instrumentalists & Musicians – whether you play guitar, piano, strings, or another instrument, your talent can glorify God.

• Multimedia & Tech Volunteers – to help operate sound equipment and run ProPresenter slides during liturgies.
