Disciples of the Holy Eucharist (DOTHE)
We are the ADORERS of the Disciples of the Holy Eucharist (DOTHE)—a ministry of St. Paul’s Catholic Church. Inspired by Christ’s call to keep watch and rest in His love, we dedicate time each week to Eucharistic Adoration.
“Could you not keep watch with Me for one hour?” — Matthew 26:40
Through prayerful silence, we grow in love for Jesus and intercede for the world—one hour at a time.
WHAT IS EUCHARISTIC ADORATION?
Eucharistic Adoration is prayer before the Blessed Sacrament—Jesus Christ, truly present in the Eucharist.
The consecrated Host is placed in a monstrance on the altar or tabernacle. In this sacred space, you are invited to:
- Rest in His presence
- Offer your burdens and gratitude
- Listen for His voice in silence
“Peace I leave with you... Do not let your hearts be troubled.” — John 14:27
Eucharistic Procession
The "ADORERS" of the Disciples of the Holy Eucharist, help coordinate the three Eucharistic Processions we have here at St. Paul's.
- The Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ aka "Corpus Christi Sunday"
- The Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe aka "Christ The King Sunday."
- Holy Thursday Vigil. Procession after Mass. Adoration until Midnight. Adorers are encouraged to take turns to spend time in Adoration until the Blessed Sacrament is reposed.
DOTHE Adorers help plan the procession route/map, Adorers schedule, role assignments, and coordinate with the Pastor and the Liturgy Team.
